Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria required severe symptomatic aortic stenosis confirmed by echocardiography and a Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) score > 4 percent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with MRI-incompatible conditions, recent traumatic brain injury, brain surgery, or brain tumors were excluded.
