Pain relief in patient undergoing manual vacuum aspiration manual vacuum aspiration, lidocaine gel, visual analog scale of pain

Interventions

1) all patients who have indication for MVA will receive misoprostol 200 mcg 2 tablets sublingually and ibuprofen 400 mg 1 tablet orally 30 minute before procedure. 2) the visual analog scale at b
lidocaine gel group and placebo group. 4) vaginal speculum are inserted. the 2% lidocaine gel 5ml are applied to cervix in intervention group, wait for 5 minutes. 5) paracervical block is applied at
clock of cervix. wait for 2 minutes. 6) cervix is grasped by tenaculum, then VAS are collected after cervical traction by patient. 7) MVA is done and VAS are collected at 0 minute and 30 minutes after
lidocaine gel group and placebo group. 4) vaginal speculum are inserted. sterilized gel 5 g are applied in placebo group. wait for 5 minutes. 5) paracervical block is applied at 4 and 8 o&#039

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 20 years of age or older women 2. Women with indications of manual vacuum aspiration such as missed abortion, incomplete abortion, retained placental tissue

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. history allergy to Lidocaine, ibuprofen, misoprostol, pethidine, tramadol 2. contraindications for using Lidocaine, ibuprofen, misoprostol such as kidney disease, heart disease, cirrhosis, peptic ulcer disease, gastric perforation, upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage
