Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged over 60 years with hip fractures who underwent surgery between January 2022 and June 2024, with records in the orthopedic hip fracture surgery database of the Department of Orthopedics
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.) Patients who were unable to stand or walk prior to the fracture event, including bedridden patients or those requiring wheelchair ambulation. 2.) Fractures resulting from bone pathology such as cancer or bone tumors (pathological fractures from cancer or bone tumors) or conditions caused by excessive force, such as stress fractures. 3.) Multiple traumatic fractures 4.) Patients with critical conditions that cannot be stabilized (hemodynamic instability) after surgery 5.) Open fractures. 6.) Concurrent head injuries. 7.) Severe life-threatening cardiac conditions that could lead to death. 8.) American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification V and VI.
