Conditions

By measuring RANKL and OPG levels in both palatal bone and dentin grafts, we can gain insights into how these graft materials may influence the osteogenic process and their effectiveness in socket preservation. RANKL, OPG, palatal graft, dentin graft, ridge preservation

In group I, ADG will be obtained from the extracted tooth to preserve the socket after mixing it with the patient&#039
s own blood. After that, socket debridement with passive graft filling, absorbable gelatine sponge (Gelfoam) placement, and figure of 8 suture using 5/0 nylon type over the grafted socket will be acco

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Any patient who needs dental extraction for maxillary 1st premolar (1P) and 2nd premolar (2P) will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with compromised health condition and/or systemic disease involving the bone, long span edentulous ridge (tooth standing alone), age below 18y, history of cleft palate, oro-antral communication at the time of extraction, heavy smoking, previous radiation therapy, and traumatic extraction will be excluded from this study.
