Participants will be divided into two groups based on the time elapsed between delivery and gastric assessment using ultrasound. Group 1: Postpartum period within 24 hours. ,Group 2: Postpartum period

18 Years to 50 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Postpartum patients undergoing tubal sterilization. 2. Aged 18 years or older 3. ASA physical status I, II or III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of gastrointestinal surgery. 2. Abnormal GI anatomy, such as gastric tumors, hiatal hernia, abdominal hernia, inguinal hernia, or intestinal obstruction. 3. Refusal to participate in the study.
