Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. First-year college students enrolled in an academic institution. 2. Age range: Minimum 18 years to Maximum 20 years. 3. No history of major psychological disorders that could affect participation. 4. Physically capable of engaging in yoga-based exercises. 5. Willingness to participate in an 8-week Exercise for Stress Management (ESM) protocol and provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of cardiovascular or respiratory illnesses (e.g., hypertension, asthma) that may be affected by physical activity. 2. Recent surgeries or any medical condition that could be aggravated by yoga practice. 3. Use of medication that could influence heart rate variability (HRV) or other physiological measures. 4. Prior experience with regular yoga practice that might impact baseline measurements.
