Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Cardiovascular disease patients 2. Aged 18 years or older 3. Good consciousness (Glasgow Coma Scale score > 8)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Diarrhea within 1 day prior to randomization 2.Nil by mouth for more than 24 hours 3.Daily laxative use within the previous week 4.Contraindications for laxatives, including allergies, coagulopathy, or rectal perforation 5.A history of chronic constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal ileus or obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, cirrhosis, or bowel surgery. 6.Women who were pregnant at the time of admission. 7.The presence of a colostomy, ileostomy, or jejunostomy
