Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female 2. Had at least one of the following serum total cholesterol ranged 200 to 239 mg/dl triglycerides ranged 150 to 199 mg/dl LDL ranged 130 to 159 mg/dl and HDL ranged less than 50 mg/dl
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients used drugs or supplements affecting serum lipids 2. Patients with coronary vascular disease, renal and hepatic dysfunction, hematological, uncontrolled hypertension, uncontrolled diabetes, pregnant women, breast-feeding women 3. Patients who may suffer from undesirable complications during the study, including headache, vertigo, nausea, and irregular use of capsules and allergic reaction to the herb
