Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Clinical isolates of S. suis obtained from infected adults aged 18 and older, collected from different body sites, were identified by the microbiological laboratories at the study sites. These isolates will later be verified through standard phenotypic testing, mass spectrometry, and if needed, molecular identification at the Infectious Disease Research Laboratory within the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Clinical isolates of bacteria transferred from the study site that are subsequently identified as other species. 2.Volunteers do not give consent for the study.
