Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 60 years and older. 2. Able to walk at least 10 meters without the use of walking aids. 3. Proficient in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Thai, with good communication skills in the language. 4. Assessed using the Thai version of the Mental State Examination T10 (MSET10): elderly individuals with no formal education (illiterate) should score > 14 points; those with primary education should score > 17 points; and those with education beyond primary school should score > 22 points (Boongird, 2018). 5. Voluntarily consent to participate in the research project and sign a written consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with neurological disorders affecting gait, such as cervical myelopathy, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, stroke, dementia, and Parkinson's disease, among others. 2. Conditions related to musculoskeletal disorders that impact walking, such as hip pain, back pain, knee pain, or ankle pain (VAS > 6/10). 3. Underwent lower limb orthopedic surgery with incomplete full weight bearing. 4. Systolic blood pressure prior to data collection > 210 mmHg (in males) and > 190 mmHg (in females), and/or diastolic blood pressure prior to data collection > 90 mmHg (in both males and females) (Currie et al., 2018). 5. Volunteers unable to complete all testing procedures or who declined to participate in the study.
