Receiving Cisplatin 100 mg/sq.m every 3 weeks with radiotherapy,Receiving Cisplatin 40 mg/sq.m every week with radiotherapy

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with head and neck cancer and treated with cisplatin-based chemotherapy concurrent with radiotherapy at Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with recurrent cancer or those who have previously completed treatment with cisplatin, 2. Incomplete medical records, such as missing creatinine levels or other essential data.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) During treatment and up to 1 month AKI will be assessed based on serum creatinine levels using the Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) criteria.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Cisplatin Cumulative Dose At the completion of chemotherapy Total cumulative dose of cisplatin recorded from patient treatment data.,Factors Associated with Cisplatin Nephrotoxicity At the completion of data collection. Multivariable logistic regression analysis will assess risk factors such as age, body mass index (BMI), and baseline renal function.
