Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy Thai patients age >18 years (American Society Anesthesiologists (ASA) class I & II) 2. Patients who have single tooth or 2-adjacent teeth edentulous area with history of tooth extraction more than 2 months and require horizontal bone augmentation simultaneous with dental implant placement in posterior regions of mandible.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with uncontrolled systemic conditions, such as uncontrol hypertension, diabetes and bone metabolism disorders, or local conditions that interfere the wound healing process. 2. Patients exhibiting parafunctional habits such as bruxism or clenching. 3. Patients with poor oral hygiene or lacking motivation for oral care. 4. Patients currently undergoing treatment that may interfere with osseointegration, such as antiresorptive drugs or long-term steroid therapy. 5. Patients with a history of head and neck radiotherapy or undergoing chemotherapy. 6. Patients with a history of alcohol or drug abuse. 7. Patients who smoke. 8. Patients who are pregnant or lactating. 9. Patients unable to attend follow-up appointments.
