Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Females aged 15-19 years who have been recently diagnosed with IS by a physician without medical contraindications to physical activity and prior prescription for conservative interventions for IS (e.g., bracing, physical therapy, scoliosis-specific exercise, or surgery). Participants must also have upright standing plain radiographs, either full-length spine or segmental thoracic and lumbar views, taken within the past three months and showing a Cobb angle between 10 and 40 degrees.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants will be excluded if they have any cardiovascular, endocrine, or connective tissue disorders affecting musculoskeletal health; gastrointestinal or eating disorders affecting nutrient absorption; current use of medications that influence bone or muscle metabolism; high physical activity levels (IPAQ score more than 3,000 MET-min/week); and high-risk behaviors such as smoking or alcohol consumption.
