Conditions

Incidence of post-operative AKI in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass compared to conventional monitoring. Renal NIRs, Acute kidney injury, AKI, Cardiopulmonary bypass, cardiac surgery

Interventions

- The anesthesiologist will unseal the randomization envelope before monitoring the patient. - Standard Monitoring: All patients will be monitored with non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), heart rate (
Medtronic, Inc,) throughout the surgery and up to the end of the cardiac procedure. - Sensor Placement: NIRS sensors will be placed on both flanks directly over the kidneys, marked under ultrasound gu
