Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.patients undergoing infraumbilical daycare surgery 2. ASA physical status I/II
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Parent or guardian's refusal 2. ASA status III or IV 3. Known allergy/hypersensitivity to the study drug 4. Difficult intravenous access or refusal to iv cannulation while being awake 5. Any developmental delay or neuropsychiatric illness 6. Obese children (more than/ equal to 95 percentile of BMI age appropriate) 7. Congenital heart disease or coagulation disorder
