Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients aged 6 months to 15 years with acute illness and mild dehydration. They received intravenous fluids in the form of either isotonic solution or hypotonic solution for at least 24 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: heart failure, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and received diuretic drugs before or during the study
