Interventions

The experimental group practiced PBT consisting of 7 exercises. All the exercises involved inhaling for 7 seconds and exhaling for 14 seconds, which had to be repeated six times per sets, for two sets

18 Years to 24 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged 18 to 24 years 2. individuals with unilateral or bilateral hamstring tightness (PKE angle more than 20 degrees) 3. body mass index of 18.5-24.9 kg/square meter 4. sedentary lifestyle.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. factors like regular stretching exercises, muscle relaxant use, fractures of the spine and/or lower extremities, 2. Hamstring muscles tendinitis or muscle strain, and hypermobility 3. severe orthopedic or neurological conditions, abdominal surgery within one year, seizures, respiratory problems, and uncontrolled hypotension or hypertension.

Modified-Modified Schober Test baseline, after 1st training and after 4th week. The difference between measurements in standing and bending forward recorded as lumber flexion in centimeters,Passive Knee Extension Test baseline, after 1st training and after 4th week. the assessor bends one hip to 90 degrees, The assessor then slowly extends the bent knee until a tolerable stretch is felt in the posterior thigh, recording the angle. ,The Craniovertebral Angle Test baseline, after 1st training and after 4th week. the angle between the line from C7 to the tragus and the horizontal line was measured using a goniometer.
