Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria 1. Age 18 -80 years 2.Individuals undergoing wisdom tooth surgery or implant surgery for no more than 2 teeth simultaneously, excluding bone grafting or other additional procedures. (This choice is based on the procedures having no effect on maximum tongue pressure.) 3.Good health with no congenital diseases or uncontrolled chronic diseases such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, or diabetes. Those with controlled conditions under continuous medical care (ASA Class I, II) are eligible.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria 1.Have signs of infection or inflammation 2.Have mental disability or schizophrenia. 3.Have abnormal tissue or muscle conditions. 4Have abnormalities related to the facial structure and jaw bones, such as cleft lip and palate, a syndrome in which the skull is abnormally connected (craniosynostosis) or people with these conditions: Apert syndrome, Crouzon syndrome, Treacher collins syndrome, Pierre Robin syndrome. 5.Have a history of having undergone lingual frenectomy, tongue surgery, or have received tongue exercises. 6.Have a history of accidents around the jaw and face.
