Interventions

In group A patients for per rectal vancomycin therapy, the patient is asked to lie in the left lateral or knee-chest position, and a solution of vancomycin was prepared at a dose of 20-30mg/kg in crys

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All the pre-operative and post-operative Hirschsprung disease patients of age from 1 month to 14 years of age coming with HAEC.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: hypersensitive to vancomycin, critically sick patients on arrival, and those with toxic megacolon in which diverting stoma has to be formed.
