Overweight and obese individuals with body mass index (BMI) more than 25 kg/m2. exercise quadriceps overweight obesity

Interventions

Participants perform quadriceps strengthening exercise 3 days weekly for 4 weeks.,Participants perform vastus medialis oblique (VMO) strengthening exercise 3 days weekly for 4 weeks.

Age
18 Years to 25 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Females aged between 18-25 years 2. Body mass index (BMI) more than 23 kg/m2 3. Q-angle more than 17 degrees 4. No participation in any form of exercise 3 months prior the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Injury or operation of lower extremity within the last 6 months prior the study 2. Injury of ligaments, muscles, tendons, and meniscus of the knee
