20 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 20-80 years undergoing general anesthesia with spinal or epidural block during major abdominal surgery. 2. ASA status I-III. 3. Scheduled non-emergency surgeries during working hours. 4. Patients who are conscious and consent to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative fever 2. Suspected infection, sepsis, thyroid disease, or dysautonomia. 3. Medications: beta-blockers, clonidine, phenothiazine, meperidine, paracetamol. 4. Refusal of spinal or epidural block.
