Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: We enrolled patients under 15 years old diagnosed with sepsis by the 2005 International Pediatric Sepsis Consensus Conference criteria who admitted to our 10-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), serving medical and surgical conditions, at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital from March 2023 to March 2024.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Critical airway patient, Risk of airborne infection, Pneumothorax or air leak or mechanical ventilator leakage >10%, On extracorporeal therapy, On nasal oxygen support or non-invasive mechanical ventilator, On high mechanical ventilator setting (FiO2 > 60%, PEEP > 10 cmH2O, on HFOV), Underweight (body weight < 10 kg)
