Age
18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patient with clinical symptoms suspected of septic arthritis of the knee, shoulder and hip joint 2. patient within age of 18-80 years old 3. patient with synovial fluid analysis of WBC count more than 50,000 cells/mm2 in native joint or patient with history of joint replacement within 90 days with synovial fluid analysis of WBC count more than 10,000 cells/mm2 or patient with history of joint replacement more than 90 days with synovial fluid analysis of WBC count more than 3,000 cells/mm2 or patient who is diagnosed as septic arthritis by specialists

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patient who failed arthrocentesis 2. patient who has contraindication for arthrocentesis such as skin and soft tissue around arthrocentesis site, coagulopathy etc. 3. patient who failed to obtain more than 5 cc of synovial fluid
