Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants were included in the study if they reported a history of low back pain for more than 3 months; pain between costal margin and gluteal fold without distribution to lower extremity before study enrolment and a disability score of 19% or greater as evident from the MODQ

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria consisted of a history of pregnancy; surgery of the spine or lower extremity; a history of the spine or lower extremity fracture or injuries within 6 months; BMI > 30 kg/m2; neurological deficit; nerve root compression; physical therapy of the spine within the 1 month; uncontrolled hypertension; diabetes mellitus; and cardiovascular disease.
