Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: including both benign and malignant between the ages of 18 to 60 years old undergoing thyroid surgery at Thammasat University Hospital from February 10th to November 30th, 2019 were included in this trial

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients who undergo thyroid surgery combined with neck dissection involving levels 1-5; previous history of neck surgery; history of hypertrophic scars and/or keloids at other locations; history of neck irradiation, patients who experience post-operative bleeding requiring re-operation to control bleeding and patients requiring re-operative thyroid surgery (completion thyroidectomy).
