Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Oral squamous cell carcinoma patients aged more than 18 years with Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status 0-1 who are due to undergo surgical treatment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who have previous head and neck surgery or irradiation, extensive lesions unable to define mucosal resection margins around the tumor, distant metastatic disease, and cancer in other parts of the body.
