Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-65 years old 2. ASA physical status I-III 3. Undergoing elective anorectal surgery with spinal anesthesia at Chulalongkorn Hospital
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergies to drugs used in the study 2. Inability to provide pain scores 3. History of prior urinary catheterization 4. Chronic pain persisting beyond 3 months and prior exposure to morphine 5. Presence of skin diseases and itching 6. The requirement for critical care post-surgery 7. Contraindications to the specific spinal anesthesia employed in the study
