Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: were supracondylar fracture Gartland classification type III and did not succeed in close reduction of the fracture side in the operative room. The ages were less than 10 years old and were all extension type. Consent was informed prior to surgery in case of failed close reduction. All samples should be able to come to follow up for a year in our department.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: We excluded whose ages were more than 10 years old, history of previous elbow surgery or injury, suspected pathologic fracture, previously had infected wound at surgical mark site. Children with bilateral fracture, fracture other site unilaterally, open fracture and was unable to continuously participate or discontinued our follow-up.
