Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 years or older, 2. Admitted to the intensive care unit, 3. Requiring ECMO (venovenous (VV-ECMO) or venoarterial ECMO (VA-ECMO), and 4. Presenting with AKI, which needs CRRT.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy 2. Heparin contraindication 3. AKI due to bilateral renal arterial thrombosis, renal vasculitis, glomerulonephritis, systemic vasculitis, or post-obstructive renal failure
