Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Subjective pain at 1 and 2 weeks after dry needling Visual Analogue Scale assessed by a straight line with one end meaning no pain and the other end meaning the worst pain imaginable (0-100 mm)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Objective pain at 1 and 2 weeks after dry needling Pressure pain threshold assessed by digital algometer (Kilopascal, kPa),Satisfaction 2 weeks after dry needling Likert scale of 0-5 (0 meant not satisfied, 5 meant the most satisfied)
