Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients with good consciousness, RASS score between (-1)-(+1) 2. verbalized Thai language 3. patients in postoperative period who are fasting 4. under general anesthesia in perioperative period 5. patients who are in 1-6 hr. after extubated endotracheal tube 6. approved in the Safety Protocol for Thirst Management (SPTM) 7. consent to participate the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with oral surgery or oral lesion 2. patients in dying stage 3. diagnose Xerostomia 4. body temperatures more than 37.5 degree Celsius
