Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Acute intertrochanteric fracture planned for surgery 2. Both genders; males and females 3. Aged >60 years 4. Patients after simple fall and low velocity injury 5. Able to communicate 6. Able to provide written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Being admitted more than 72 hours after injury 2. Neglected intertrochanteric fracture 3. Pathological fracture 4. Multiple traumatic injuries 5. Not able to speak Thai/English 6. Patients with mental disorders (Delirium on enrollment) 7. Trophic ulcers and severe edema of the lower limb 8. Conservative treatment
