Conditions

Carpal tunnel syndrome patients whose symptoms have not relieved with conservative treatment and requiring for a decompressive surgery Ketorolac, Wide awake open carpal tunnel decompression surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome

Interventions

Peri-operative cocktail analgesic with Ketorolac 30 mg (1ml), 1% lidocaine with epinephrine (8ml) and 7.5% Sodium bicarbonate (1ml) with total 10 ml through subcutaneous injection,Peri-operative cockt

18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 18 - 65 years old 2. Patients with CTS confirmed by Orthopedics staff or resident 3. Desired for surgery 4. Willing to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. End stage renal disease (ESRD) (GFR< 15 mL/min/1.73 m2) 2. Previous carpal tunnel decompression surgery in the same hand 3. Previous fracture at wrist 4. Rheumatoid arthritis, Cervical radiculopathy, cubital tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, cerebrovascular disease 5. Cognitive impairment 6. Acetaminophen or NSAIDs allergy 7. Unwilling to follow up
