Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with acute large vessel occlusion stroke (ICA, MCA, or BA) aged over 18 years with moderate to severe symptoms (NIHSS > 10) are treated at Thammasat University Hospital and have received treatment through Mechanical thrombectomy within the first 24 hours after the onset of symptoms (with or without IV rtPA). 2. Having an ASPECT score of 4-10 from a pre- or post-Mechanical thrombectomy CT brain scan. 3. Immediate CT scan after treatment with Mechanical thrombectomy (post-op CT) shows no evidence of parenchymal hemorrhage type 2 (PH2), regardless of the NIHSS score.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with dementia, kidney failure, or in the terminal stage of their illness. 2. Patients with a history of IVC filter insertion. 3. Has a history of allergy to radiopaque substances. 4. Platelet count < 50,000, INR > 1.7, or has active bleeding. 5. Blood glucose <50 or >400 mg%. 6. Has sepsis or septic shock conditions. 7. The patient or relatives do not wish to participate in the study. 8. Significant information in the medical records is incomplete. 9. Foreign patients. 10. The patient or relatives cannot sign the consent form on the day of treatment by mechanical thrombectomy.
