Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients ages 18 years old and older with initial pneumonia diagnosis (ICD-10 code: J12-J18) and subsequent hospital admission
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: traumatic-related illness experienced out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) or in-hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA), incomplete of their data on the potential confounding factors, primary and secondary outcomes
