Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of T2D 2. PAD was diagnosed by an angiogram, duplex ultrasonography, or ankle-brachial blood pressure index (ABPI) 3. The ulcer is located on the lower extremity 4. The ulcer is present for a minimum of 2 weeks during which it has been ei-ther stable or worsening
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Evidence of acute cellulitis and osteomyelitis in the affected extremity 2. Presence of any of one or more medical conditions including hepatic, hemato-logic, or immune disease 3. Presence of malignant disease not in remission for more than 5 years 4. Use of oral or parenteral corticosteroids, immunosuppressive, or cytotoxic agents 5. Pregnancy
