18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.a best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) of at least 20/30 (snellen notation) 2. refraction of at least minus 6 diopters 3. intraocular pressure (IOP) within the normal range (21 mmHg) 4.normal slit-lamp examination results; no abnormalities of the optic disc or signs of glaucoma in fundus photography (C:D ratio more than 0.5, focal or diffuse loss of neuroretinal rim or notching or retinal nerve fiber layer defects, disc hemorrhage compatible with glaucoma) 5.no history glaucoma or family history of glaucoma 6. no history of undergoing intraocular or laser surgery in the best eye 7. and no history of receiving medications such as hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, phenothiazines, pentosan polysulfate sodium (PPS), antituberculosis medications (ethambutol), deferoxamine, talc, or tamoxifen continuously, which may result in damage to the macula or optic nerve.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.abnormalities of the macula, optic disc, and retinal nerve fiber layer detected on optical coherence tomography (OCT) 2. inability to complete all three consecutive visual field tests 3.and fixation loss of > 25% , false positive >15% , or false negative >15%.
