Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: pain in the region below the costal margin and above the inferior gluteal folds lasting more than 12 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. chronic low back pain by any specific pathology e.g. infection, tumor, osteoporosis, fracture, structural deformity, inflammatory disorder, or radicular syndrome. 2. have any contraindications to the use of local heat.
