Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are admitted to surgical ICUs aged of more than 18 years old 2.Receiving invasive mechanical ventilation with spontaneous breathing activity 3.Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale of less than +1 4.Present any signs of inadequate tissue perfusion which are 4.1 MAP of less than 65 mmHg 4.2 HR of more than 100 bpm 4.3 Urine output of less than 0.5 ml/kg/h 4.4 Skin mottling or capillary refilling time of more than 2 seconds 4.5 Serum lactate of more than 1
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient who refuses to participate in research. 2. Known or suspected increased intracranial or intra-ocular pressure 3. Absolute contraindication of radial artery cannulation 4. Persistent arrhythmias 5. Known severe valvular dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension, or LVEF less than 30% 6. Present signs of cardiogenic pulmonary edema 7. Intra-abdominal hypertension 8. Open thorax 9. Known obstruction or thrombosis of the inferior vena cava or any great veins of the lower limb 10. Lower limb amputation above ankle level 11. Received muscular relaxant agents 12. Pregnancy
