Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 18 - 60 years old. 2. Healthy status (American Society of Anesthesiologists: ASA class I and II). 3. Patient with bilaterally impacted mandibular third molars that require both bone removal and tooth section. 4. Patient who is able to receive the treatment and follow-up on the scheduled date.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of serious systemic diseases. 2. History of allergy to local anesthesia. 3. During pregnancy or breast feeding. 4. Active infection or pathology of impacted mandibular third molar. 5. History of receiving medicine that could affect the pain perception within last 2 weeks (such as sedative drugs, anti-anxiety drugs, antidepressant drugs). 6. Patient who requires surgery on both sides of impacted mandibular third molar at the same time. 7. Incompetency of communication (such as deafness and visual problems). 8. Illiteracy.
