18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Both sexes aged 18-70 years (2) Prediabetes with glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) 5.7-6.4% with National Glycohemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP)without fast or fasting plasma glucose 100-125 mg/dl with intravenous glucose tolerance test. The volunteers are instructed to fast for 12 hours prior to the tests (3) Body mass index (BMI) more than or equal 23-29.90 (4) Willing to participate this research project (5) Or 2-hour plasma glucose (OGGT) more than or equal 140-199 mg/dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Participating in diabetes education programs or other research. (2) Using herbal within 60 days or other alternative treatment such as acupuncture. (3) Regular physical activity or exercise with taichi, yoga or qigong within the past 2 years (more than or equal 30 minutes/ day, more than or equal3 days/ week). (4) Have spinal problems, such as scoliosis (5) Pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. (6) Had hospitalization treatment plan such as surgery during experimental. (7) Uncontrolled comorbid disease, such as atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), chronic kidney disease (CKD), heart failure (HF), atrial fibrillation, stroke, peripheral vascular disease (PVD), rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, osteoporosis, depression, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), dementia, severe mental illness (SMI), epilepsy, hypothyroidism and learning disability.
