Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male and female patients who sought physiotherapy treatment at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia Age between 35-80 years old Symptomatic Knee OA Bilateral or single knee OA Kellgren-Lawrence grades of II or III upon radiographic classification Active full range of knee movement BMI 18.5-29.9 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Allergy to turmeric supplements or herbal medication Candidate for surgical procedure Secondary OA due to trauma, rheumatoid arthritis, hemophilia and surgery. Intra-articular steroid injection done within the 3 months period. Using corticosteroids Presents with heart, liver and renal failure BMI > 30kg/m2 Smoker
