Healthy volunteers Mindfulness training, chanting, meditation, heart rate variability, resting vital signs, executive function, mental health

Interventions

Participants practice a daily Buddhist mindfulness training (chanting 25 mins, hand moving meditation 15 mins, sitting meditation 15 mins and loving-kindness sharing 5 mins) for 8 weeks.,Participants

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. University students 2. No hearing problem and colour blindness

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Experiencing or being a patient relates to brain, cardiovascular, or pulmonary diseases 2. Experiencing or being a psychiatric patient 3. Experiencing motor-vehicle accident 4. Regular smoking or alcohol drinking 5. Regular mindfulness practice, more than 3 hours/week
