Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with Graves' disease were diagnosed by endocrinologists as having hyperthyroidism, diffused goiter without nodules, or serum thyroid autoantibodies that were positive. 2. Patients were followed up in the outpatient internal medicine clinic at Siriraj Hospital. 3. They had to be 18 or older. 4. Their free T3 and free T4 levels before RAI therapy had to be no higher than 2UNL. 5. They all had signs and symptoms that indicated RAI therapy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient who had Graves disease with a thyroid nodule. 2. Allergies to anti-thyroid medications. 3. Prior thyroid surgery. 4. Prior RAI therapy. 5. Psychiatric problems: Bipolar, Major depressive disorder, schizophrenia 6. Graves ophthalmopathy
