18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Acute appendicitis patients who underwent appendectomy procedures between January 1, 2016, and March 31, 2022.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with advanced age, pregnancy, atherosclerotic disease, diabetes mellitus, hematologic disease, or use of steroids or immunosuppressants, any of which can affect serum biomarker interpretation.
