This study aims to investigate the impact of maternal amphetamine use during pregnancy on neonatal birth weight. Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women who gave birth at the participating hospitals during the study period. Women who underwent drug testing during pregnancy or at delivery. Women who tested positive for amphetamines at delivery (positive test group). Women who tested negative for amphetamines during pregnancy or at delivery (non-positive test group). Infants born to the included women. Infants born between a specific time period (January 1, 2021 to March 31, 2023) Infants born at one of the participating hospitals or labor rooms included in the study Infants born at or after 24 weeks gestational age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women who did not undergo drug testing during pregnancy or at delivery. Women who tested positive for other drugs of abuse, such as cocaine or opioids. Women with pre-existing medical conditions that could affect neonatal birth weight, such as hypertension or diabetes. Infants with known congenital anomalies or medical conditions that could affect birth weight, such as intrauterine growth restriction or multiple gestations. Infants with missing or incomplete birth weight data.
