Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Asthmatic patients aged 60 years or older with stable treatment, 2. Subjects aged 60 years or older with healthy or stable diseases other than pulmonary diseases

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Smoking history 10 pack-years or more, 2. inability to perform spirometry, 3. asthma exacerbation within 3 months, 4. Treatment with systemic corticosteroid within 3 months, 5. Pulmonary diseases other than asthma eg.COPD, bronchiectasis, pulmonary fibrosis, 6. Autoimmune diseases eg. SLE, Rheumatoid arthritis, 7. Cancers, 8. Coronary heart diseases, 9. Cerebrovascular disease including stroke and dementia, 10. Uncontrolled chronic diseases eg, DM, HT, liver cirrhosis, CKD
