Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients who diagnosed acute otitis externa age older than 18 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: perforated tympanic membrane on the affected side dermatitis acute otitis media history of receiving antibiotic or steroid in the previous month malignant otitis externa severe acute otitis externa (CSS > 10) history of hypersensitivity reaction to thimerosal, boric acid powder, ofloxacin otic drop, or 10% xylocaine spray on immunosuppressant
