Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients whose SBP is greater than or equal to 180 mm Hg and/or DBP is greater than or equal to 110 mm Hg without any signs or symptoms of target organ damage.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) ACS, 2) acute HF, 3) acute stroke, 4) intra-cerebral hemorrhage, 5) hypertensive encephalopathy, 6) acute aortic dissection, 7) acute kidney injury (AKI), and 8) pregnancy
