Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Postmenopausal women aged 50 years and over with a low energy traumatic ankle fracture after menopausal period. 2. Postmenopausal women aged 50 years and over with low energy traumatic fractures forearm, wrist, hip, spine either or those diagnosed with osteoporosis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are unable to entry Dual X-ray absorptiometry 2. Patients with medical equipment including any foreign matter at the point of investigation 3. There is a marked erosion or deformity at the measured site 4. Those who had total Hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy before menopause 5. Estrogen deficiency before entering menopause for more than 1 year 6. Patients had taking glucocorticoids for more than 3 months. 7. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis
